Hilchos Beis Habechira Initiative Across The Chabad Yeshiva World

Over the past three weeks, based of the Rebbe’s directive to learn Hilchos Beis Habechira and to add in Ahavas Yisroel, a Mivtza, a first of its kind, has united Yeshivos around the world to learn a daily Halacha from the Rambam’s Hilchos Beis Habechira.

The curriculum was worked on and prepared to select specific Halachos, which would lay out the clear picture of the Beis Hamikdosh, alongside a simple, easy to read English explanation.

The daily Halachos and format was geared for all Bochurim to be able to partake, even those that struggle with heavy extra-curricular initiatives, on the other hand, having a daily point to ponder for those looking to dive deeper into the day’s Halacha. These were specific hand picked sources from the Rebbe’s Sichos and Farbrengens, having some interesting Meforshim on the side.

Daily questions were required to be filled out by the Bochurim, to ensure they learnt the daily quota properly.

To encourage all this, one of Anash has given a dollar from the Rebbe to be raffled off between all the participants.

BH, close to 500 Bochurim have participated in this Mivtza, from Tzefas in Eretz Yisroel to New Haven, Connecticut, from Manchester, England to Chicago Illinoi, and from Yeshiva Campus in Suffield to YKP in Pennsylvania. We’re sure in the Rebbe’s words that this has had a big effect in building the Beis Hamikdosh, and making it a reality.
