Geulah & Moshiach Chidon Held at YTTL Queens

On the spirited day of Chof-Ches Sivan, a day that marked a new chapter in the Rebbe’s leadership and the spreading of Yiddishkeit throughout America, the talmidim of Yeshivas Tomchei Tmimim Lubavitch Queens held their annual Geulah & Moshiach Pre-Chidon

For many weeks, the bochurim immersed and dedicated themselves to an intensive learning program covering a broad range of topics in Inyonei Geulah U’Moshiach. Through specially prepared materials, daily reviews, tests, and incentive programs, the talmidim gained an impressive mastery of the Rebbe MHM’s teachings on Moshiach and Geulah.

In recognition of their hard work and accomplishments, all bochurim who successfully completed the testing program were rewarded with a special bicycle excursion along the waterfront.

Following the series of comprehensive exams, the top participants will advance to the final 3 round – Chidon! There, the contestants demonstrated remarkable proficiency answering challenging questions on the material. All others listened intently, strengthening their Yedios and anticipation for the imminent Geulah.

A special highlight was an inspiring address by Rabbi Yeshaya Cohen, Shliach in Alma-Ata, chief Rav of Kazakhstan. Rabbi Cohen shared personal memories from his early years on shlichus, recalling how as a bochur he traveled to Petersburg together with Rabbi Levi Hendel in 5753. There, they actively spread the message of Geulah and Moshiach, printing materials and posting large signs throughout the city proclaiming in Russian that “Moshiach is coming,” bringing awareness of the approaching redemption even in distant corners of the world.

Rabbi Cohen emphasized the tremendous importance of learning Inyonei Geulah U’Moshiach and the special nachas it brings to the Rebbe MHM. His heartfelt words left a strong impression on the bochurim and inspired them to continue increasing in these studies.

At the conclusion of the Chidon, prizes and certificates were awarded to the participants and outstanding achievers. The event concluded with a renewed sense of excitement to further learn and live with the Geulah reality, preparing for the immediate hisgalus of Moshiach Tzidkeinu.
