A Month Later, Moshiach Seudah Impact Continues

Over 160 communities across four continents hosted Moshiach Seudah programs using the Festival of the Future curriculum created by the Moshiach Office at Merkos 302.

This year’s theme, “Lessons from the Land for Personal Redemption,” focused on drawing personal takeaways from Eretz Yisrael.

“When communities around the world share a strong, parallel theme, it creates a unity that reflects geulah itself,” said Rabbi Mendy Kotlarsky, Executive Director of Merkos 302.

Each participating Chabad House received a full set of prepared resources, including printed handouts, a leader’s guide, a Shvi’i Shel Pesach sermon, and additional materials. In total, over 8,000 items were distributed to support the program.

“The goal was to give shluchim a clear, practical way to run a Moshiach Seudah that is both structured and meaningful,” said Rabbi Shlomie Naparstek, Director of the Moshiach Office.

“I am very thankful to the Moshiach Office and Shlomie Naparstek for putting this together,” said Rabbi Sholom Raichik, Chabad of Upper Montgomery County. “I’ve used their program for the past few years. It makes Moshiach Seudah into a proper, structured program. The participants liked the book and the event.”

“The stories were great and hit hard (in a good way). I loved the main message and theme of this year’s program,” added Rabbi Dovie Kivman, Chabad of Erie, PA.

The impact didn’t end with the event. Many participants left not just inspired, but with a clear hachlata. At the end of the Moshiach Seudah, one participant said, “I’m for sure taking on a Tzedaka pledge right now because of this.”

Feedback continues to come in. Just last week, a member of the Lake Chapala community told his Shliach, “I was so inspired. I walked away with a strong, clear feeling about what Chabad is and what we believe. Between the singing and the ideas you shared, it was really moving.”

Planning for next year’s Festival of the Future has already begun, with the theme decided and research well underway.
