BDE: Mrs. Chanie Elewitz, 48, OBM
With great sadnes we report the passing of Mrs. Chanie Elewitz OBM, a beloved mother from Crown Heights. She passed away on Wednesday, Chof Kislev, 5786.
She was 48 years old.
Chanie was known for her warm personality and kindness. She was a devoted mother and a dedicated teacher in Bais Rivkah for many years.
She passed away after a prolonged illness.
She is survived by her husband R’ Avraham Elewitz and their six children: Mussie, Shternie, Mendel, Yossi, Nota, and Sholom Ber.
She is also survived by her mother, Mrs. Rivkah Glick (Crown Heights), and her siblings: Motty Glick (Woodmere, NY), Mendy Glick (Pomona, NY), Raizel Rubin (Saratoga Springs, NY), Yehuda Glick (Crown Heights), Levi Glick (Hollywood, FL), Miriam Yager (Summerlin, Nevada), Sarah Korf (Crown Heights), Chaya Ehrentrei (Crown Heights), Elazar Glick (Crown Heights).
She was predeceased by her father R’ Shmuel Glick OB”M, Crown Heights.
Her Levaya will be on Thursday, Chof Alef Kislev, December 11th, passing by 770 at 12:00 pm and Beis Hachayim at 1:00 pm, at Montefiore.
Her husband, children, mother and siblings will be sitting Shiva at the Glick home, 471 Empire Blvd. Brooklyn, NY, 11225.
Miriam Yager will be sitting Shiva at her home 8337 Hollow Wharf Drive, Las Vegas NV 89128
