A Global Community of Daily Learners Finds Its Anchor in Merkos Torah
A global movement is taking root: Shluchim and Lubavitchers around the world have been committing to daily Torah learning with structure, discipline, and community. Fueled by the Rebbe’s call for Kvius itim l’Torah, they’re forming serious learning communities that span cities and time zones, anchored by chavrusas, guided curricula, and a shared sense of commitment.
To support this growing momentum, five premier programs have now been unified under a single platform: Merkos Torah, a new framework that helps learners stay consistent, connected, and accountable in their learning each day.
What began as a handful of separate kollelim under Merkos 302’s Beis Midrash Leshluchim, Halacha, Chassidus, Tefillah, Rabbonus, and women’s learning, has now evolved into a full-fledged suite learning programs with centralized resources, expert-led shiurim, and a growing global community of consistent Torah learners.
Branded as Merkos Torah, the program simplifies access and inspires consistency in daily learning. Each of the 5 Kollel tracks is guided by a clear curriculum and led by top-tier Rabbonim and mashpi’im. In addition to the in-depth shiurim, the program is chavrusa-based, encouraging regular peer-to-peer learning and accountability. Participants receive printed materials, access to an advanced online portal, and connect via dedicated WhatsApp groups, where Rabbonim engage participants daily with real-life cases and practical questions related to their sugya.
“Merkos Torah is designed to support and inspire consistency in learning Torah while balancing one’s busy schedule,” says Rabbi Mendy Kotlarsky, Executive Director of Merkos 302. “The Rebbe often emphasized that Kvius Itim L’Torah is a non-negotiable, and is the foundation of a Shliach’s success.”
“This program has significantly enhanced both my personal growth, as well as my Shlichus in general,” says Rabbi Sholom Reindorp, Shliach in Baltimore, MD.
Merkos Torah prides itself on providing an extensive and professional curriculum, with a faculty of over 20 respected Rabbonim and mashpi’im, including Rabbi Levi Raskin, Rabbi Yosef Klyne, Rabbi Osher Farkash, Rabbi Chaim Hillel Raskin, and Rabbi Tuvia Kasimov.
The five Kollel tracks provided by Merkos Torah include:
– Kollel L’Rabbonei Chabad, designed for current and aspiring Rabbonim
– Kollel L’lomdei Dach, which provides an in-depth, structured experience in learning Chassidus
– Kollel Aliba D’Hilchasa, focusing on mastering practical halacha
– Dach L’noshim, a vibrant, Chassidus-based women’s learning initiative
– Beis Medrash Iyun Tefillah, offering a deep, transformative dive into the world of davening
Rabbi Mendel Chaiton, Director of Merkos Torah explains, “Merkos Torah’s goal is to turn the Rebbe’s call for kvius itim l’Torah into a real part of people’s lives. With clear structure and strong community, and top tier Magiddei Shiurim, it helps make daily learning consistent and Geshmak”
“R’ Yosef Klyne’s shiurim on Chassidus are a real game changer,” says Rabbi Shalom Moshe Paltiel, Shliach in Port Washington, NY. “His presentation of even the most complicated sugya is clear and methodical. Moreover, he elucidates every inyan, including those I first encountered in Yeshiva and always took for granted.”
“Shum davar ba’olam,”, not a thing in the world, the Rebbe said, “should not move one from his fixed time of learning Torah.”
