Most Kids Who Join Reach the Finals – This Year, It’s Open to All

Nine out of ten kids who joined MyShliach’s Chidon classes last year passed the finals. This year, they’re earning points and prizes to master Sefer Hamitzvos on a state-of-the-art new platform built just for them.

For Yaakov Bronstein, a young Shliach in Altamonte Springs, Florida, the nearest Lubavitcher Yeshiva is over 200 miles away. MyShliach’s Chidon classes gave him a lifeline and a community.

“The classes were an incredible experience for our son Yaakov,” said Rabbi Mendy Bronstein, Yaakov’s father and co-director of Chabad Altamonte Springs. “He was engaged and looked forward to them each week. The classes not only helped him stay on track with his learning, but they also kept him motivated and excited about the Chidon throughout the year.”

MyShliach is now bringing its successful Chidon Prep program to all children, not only Yaldei Hashluchim. This opens the door for children who might not have teachers or peers learning Sefer Hamitzvos to join a global network of young learners.

“Nothing compares to the impact of learning Torah consistently, in depth, and with a community,” said Rabbi Mendy Shanowitz, Director of MyShliach at Merkos 302. “When a kid in a small town aces a Chidon test, he feels capable, connected, and part of something bigger. That’s what this is about.”

“When the Rebbe launched Mivtza Rambam, he introduced a Sefer Hamitzvos track so even children could take part,” said Rabbi Mendy Kotlarsky, Executive Director of Merkos 302. “The Rebbe emphasized that when Yidden everywhere learn the same subject at the same time, it creates an unbreakable bond. This program brings that vision alive for Yaldei Hashluchim, giving each child, no matter where they live, the chance to be part of something global, joyful, and enduring.”

The program offers focused virtual classes taught by seasoned instructors. Kids meet weekly, master the material, and build connections with peers around the world: empowering aspiring champions to master Sefer Hamitzvos and train for the international finals.

As part of their mission to care for the well-being of Yaldei Hashluchim worldwide, students who complete the program with top results are eligible to join the regional MyShliach Retreat, a two-day trip in the States or Europe.

This year, MyShliach launched an interactive new platform that transforms the Chidon prep experience. Students collect points for engagement, track their progress, access PowerPoints, quizzes, and learning resources, and enter raffles throughout the year.

“At MyShliach, we aim to unite children all over the world through Torah learning,” said Rabbi Levi Harlig, newly appointed MyShliach Chidon coordinator at Merkos 302. “Kids graduate this program each year with a mastery of Sefer Hamitzvos, and a community of friends they met along the way.”

Enrollment is now open. A twenty percent discount is available for MyShliach members. Families can register and see details at MyShliach.com/chidonclasses.
