New Shluchim Announce Move To Palm Beach County, Florida

Nestled along the sandy coastline of Palm Beach County, Florida lies a vibrant beach town, home to a rapidly expanding Jewish demographic. In recent decades, Palm Beach County has become a thriving metropolis, making it the fourth-largest Jewish community in the country. As many middle aged retirees and young professionals flock to Florida, the area has become an oasis for many Jews.

While the Jewish community has a solid foundation, there is still much work to be done. An estimated 60-70% of the Jews in Coastal Palm Beach are still waiting to be reached. Rabbi Mendy and Rivka Rotenstriech (née Stolik), along with their baby Yosef, will be stepping in to fill the needs of this growing Jewish community, bringing the joy of Yiddishkeit to the Jews of the area. They will work on expanding the current community of South Palm Beach through extensive outreach and innovative programming. They will also engage the up-and-coming downtown area of Lake Worth Beach by facilitating authentic Jewish learning and networking events for the young and working population. The Rotenstreich’s hope to build a welcoming Jewish community, ensuring that every Jew has a place to connect to their heritage and grow in their Yiddishkeit.

The Rotenstreich have been appointed by Rabbi Benjy Korf, Head Shliach of Florida, and Rabbi Leibel Stolik, Shliach to South Palm Beach. Please partner with them in building Chabad of Coastal Palm Beach, impacting lives, cultivating Jewish identity, and readying the world for the coming of Moshiach
