43rd Annual Chabad of South Broward Dinner Held In Style
Hundreds celebrated the 43rd Annual Dinner of Congregation Levi Yitzchok-Lubavitch/Chabad of South Broward Headquarters in a most joyous manner, this past Motzoei Shabbos Selichos.
The event, in so many ways, was a four hour Pre-Selichos Farbrengen, filled with singing, farbrenging, dancing and a Kumzitz led by the multi-talented renowned Shlomo Simcha.
The Dinner was co-chaired by Reb Ephraim Kaufman and Reb Shui Kastel, who also served as a great MC.
Rabbi Raphael Tennenhaus read the Rebbe’s letter from 1985 to this Congregation, in which the Rebbe dedicates an entire paragraph on the significance of the Shul carrying the name of his illustrious father.
Honorees were Reb Benji and Sarah Licht, for their incredible contributions to the first year of the amazing Kollel D’Rav Pinchas Hirschprung.
Rabbi Mendi and Batya Levy were honored for their success in opening and expanding Chabad of Three Islands.
Rabbi Mordy and Itty Feiner were honored for their opening and expanding Chabad of Golden Isles.
Rabbi Mendy Tennenhaus led in Tehillim, the Rebbe’s Kapitel for Am Yisroel and chapter 121 for Eretz Yisroel.
Dozens of Shluchim and community leaders participated, and Rebbitzen Goldie Tennenhaus was most honest and humorous in presenting the Awards to the Honorees, together with Rabbi Moshe Schwartz, Chabad’s administrator since 1988.
The evening Celebrated the phenomenal growth of Chabad of South Broward, which continues to open new branches, new programs while simultaneously they will begin the Phase 1 expansion of their Headquarters in 2025.
The Dinner also commemorated Chabad of South Broward entering their 45th year as leaders in Jewish Education, Outreach and Social Services.
