Jewish Heritage Month Proclaimed In Lee County In The Presence of Chabad Shliach

Lee County, Florida Commissioners proclaimed Jewish Heritage Month this week in a show of support for Israel and the Jewish community of Southwest Florida.

At an overflowing crowd proclamation ceremony, the Lee County commissioners presented the Rabbi Yitzchok Minkowicz of Chabad Lubavitch of Southwest Florida a proclamation proclaiming their strong support for Israel and the Jewish Community, with June being the Jewish Heritage Month.

Rabbi Yitzchok Minkowicz thanked the Commissioners for creating a peaceful community for all to live and enjoy.

After the Ceremony Rabbi Yitzchok Minkowicz put on Tefillin with the Jewish residents that came out for the event on the front lawn of the county building.
