Chabad of Weston Inaugurates Kosher Room At Cleveland Clinic Weston

by CrownHeights.info

“We inaugurated the Kosher Room/Wellcome House at Cleveland Clinic Weston,” said Rabbi Yisroel and Leah Reizel Spalter, the Chabad Shluchim to Weston, FL. “With one less thing to worry about we are confident that the patients and their families will be able to devote all their energy on healing rather than worrying where they will get a kosher lunch or dinner.”

The Wellcome House is the newest initiative of Chabad of Weston in partnership with Cleveland Clinic, and will be available for Jewish patients and their families as they spend time healing and getting medical treatment in the hospital.

The ribbon cutting ceremony took place together with the President of Cleveland Clinic Weston, Dr. Scott Ross, Mayor of Weston Mrs. Peggy Brown as well as close to 100 staff and guests in attendance.

“The energy was palpable and I have no doubt that this is only the beginning of much more to come,” Rabbi Spalter said. “The Wellcome House has some very big plans for the near future for patients and their families who come here from all over the world for medical treatment. More info will be forthcoming shortly!”

The room is stocked with a large array of kosher food available 24/7 for every Jew who wants and needs kosher food.
