Sweden: Fake IED Placed Near Chabad House

This morning, a suspicious object resembling an IED (a remotely-detonated improvised explosive device) was placed in the pathway leading up to the Chabad House in Gothenburg, Sweden, which is directed by Rabbi Alexander Namdar.

Local police were immediately called to the scene and they responded in force. They orchestrated a controlled demolition of the object, which turned out to be a fake.

Police investigators took meticulous documentation from surrounding security cameras in an effort to identify who was responsible for the scare. Their investigation is still ongoing.
