Chabad Niggunim Added to iTunes

Apple iTunes has recently added the entire Chabad music library of producer Zalman Goldstein to its massive online music store.

A total of fifteen Chabad music albums, including the recent bestselling “Non-Stop Chabad” and the magnificent “Chabad Centennial Symphony,” plus many other Chabad classics are available immediately for purchase via Apple’s iTunes online store on computers and iOS devices worldwide. Digitally enhanced to Apple’s exacting audiophile standards, music enthusiasts can now purchase the Jewish music they love by the album ($9.95) or individual track ($0.99) with a click of the mouse.

“The tongue is the pen of the heart, but melody is the pen of the soul,” wrote Rabbi Schneur Zalman of Liadi, the founder of Chabad Chasidism who’s 267th birthday was this week. Chabad melodies, both joyous and reflective, introduce a dimension beyond words and intellect, often bringing the inner-soul to experience Godliness.

“I feel very fortunate to have played a role over the years in bringing Chabad’s prodigious musical heritage into many people’s homes, hearts and souls,” says Zalman Goldstein, who began producing Chabad music in 1994 and saw demand growing for Chabad music in all Jewish sectors, “To now have the music I lovingly toiled and labored over accessible by all humanity in all four corners of the earth is incredibly humbling and rewarding, and yes, very exciting.”

Truly another milestone in the vision of the Baal Shem Tov of spreading the wellsprings and warmth of Chassidus to all corners of the globe.

Zalman’s stuff is always first-class and tastefully done.
My favorite CD of his is ‘Shabbos Farbrengen’ with Chillik Frank & Yaron Gershovsky.

    Zalman, keep them coming!
