Chabad Yeshiva Gears Up for 100th Birthday

The Rebbe Rashab founded Yeshivas Toras Emes in Chevron on the 2nd of Cheshvan, 5672 (1912), while the holy-land was still under Ottoman rule. As its hundredth birthday approaches, the Yeshiva, which has since been moved to Jerusalem, is gearing up for a lavish celebration.

Yesterday, a colorful and special event took place throughout the Yeshiva’s institutes when a filming crew toured the Kindergarten, Talmud-Torah, Yeshiva, Smicha institute and Kollel, filming a special Video presentation to appear during the Dinner.

Hundreds of Cheider’s pupils and dozens of Yeshiva bochrim, attended a full day film shooting that included interviews with graduates and current pupils that told of the special atmosphere in the ‘Yerushalmi’ Yeshiva.

The film is being produced by the ‘Olam-Omelo’ Media Company and by General Marcom Media and Content Company run by Yechial and Deborah Zigman.
