Tishrei Guests Farbreng with Connecticut Shliach
After a full day of learning Nigleh and Chassidus, welcoming newly arrived friends and more, the Temimim who arrived to spend Tishrei with the Rebbe farbrenged with Shliach Rabbi Avrohom Sternberg, of New London, Connecticut, at Kollel Menachem.
Rabbi Sternberg emphasized the zchus and responsibility of being with The Rebbe during Tishrei, and illustrated this with stories of the very first charter flight of guests from Eretz Yisroel on the third day of Selichos, 5720 (1960).

A prolific author
Sternberg has taken his formidable skill as a farbrenger and transformed it into his writings for JLI as the Alter Rebbe told the Tzemach’Tzedek v’KaNai L’icha Chaver. He has written with bluster and ntimidate inspiring shluchim and bochurim alike. This is a true chossid who has taken an even deeper for literal meaning to the alter rebbe’s words of v’kanai.
