Moscow Jewish Community Rallies for Israel

Beneath a banner proclaiming “should your brothers go to war while you sit idly here?” dozens of Jews gathered Sunday at the Marina Roscha synagogue in Moscow for an evening of prayer for the safety of the Jewish people and IDF soldiers in the Holy Land.

After Davening Mincha, the congregation recited the fourth chapter of Tehilim verse by verse, led by Shluchim Rabbi Yitzchok Eilovitzky, Rabbi Mordechai Weisberg and Rabbi Simcha Garfunkel.

An inspiring speech was given by Chief Rabbi Berel Lazar, in which he called upon Russia’s Jews to awaken to Teshuvah, to increase in acts of kindness and to Put on Tefilin with themselves and with others as well for the sake of their brethren in Eretz Yisroel.

After the Chief Rabbi’s address, everyone present gave a few coins to Tzedaka, thus completing the fulfillment of three Mitzvos that can remove an evil decree: Teshuva, Tefilah and Tzedaka.

A better idea would be to stop the Cozying up to Putin who help all our Enemies.
You cant be Putin’s friend and then say “we want to help Israel”.
“should your brothers go to war while you sit idly here shmoozing with putin” Indeed.
