The first event to take place in the new facility was a Melavah Malkah this Motzaei Shabbos hosted by Rabbi and Mrs. Deren marking the Yartzeits of their children, Blumie a”h whose Yartzeit was Tuesday 28 Kislev, the fourth day of Chanukah, and Shloimy a”h whose Yartzeit is Tuesday, 12 Teves, January 3.

On Tuesday 12 Teves, January 3rd Chabad Gan Yeladim and Cheder Chabad Stamford will, with G-d’s help, begin sessions in the new center. From this day forward all Chabad activities that formerly took place at 159 Colonial Rd. will now take place in the new facility.

It is anticipated that a formal dedication ceremony will take place, G-d willing, in late spring. Plans for our annual dinner are being formalized.
