Teachers Aided with Pesach Expenses
Once again this year, the teachers of Oholei Torah were given helping hand in relieving the financial burden of the cost of produce and poultry ahead of the upcoming Yom Tov of Pesach.
As it has been done every year for over a decade, a group of teachers got together and arranged for produce, poultry and wine to be available to teachers for purchase at a substantially reduced cost.
Shaya Gordon and Shloime Klein of the Albany Avenue Mr. Greens, who have been a partner in this endeavor for over 15 years, went down to the market and chose the best quality produce items, loaded it themselves onto trucks and transported it to Crown Heights, where the items were provided at-cost to the teachers.
Arranging the distribution was Reb Shloime Futerfas, a teacher himself at Oholei Torah, who took ‘orders’ from teachers and, together with the help of other mechanchim, fulfilled them.

From ALL teachers, including other schools besides O.T. (believe it or not – such schools exist) and all the teachers in the girls schools – these dedicated teachers were greatly helped by Hakodosh Boruch Hu, because no one else cared to help them.
