Gadol Tells of Miraculous Encounter with the Rebbe

Rabbi Moshe Wolfson, The Mashgiach Ruchni of Yeshiva Torah V’daas and Rav of Beis Hakneses Emes Yisroel in Borough Park, delivered an insightful Shiur and words of Chizuk at the Yeshiva Gedolah of Miami amid a visit to South Florida.

Rabbi Wolfson is one of the most respected Rabbonim in the United States. He has many followers, who seek his advice and get inspiration from him. He also had a close relationship with the Lubavitcher Rebbe.

Rabbi Wolfson arrived at the Yeshiva with his son, Rabbi Avrohom Yitzchok, and his attendant, Rabbi Aron Kovitz, along with Mr. Avi Shaulson. He was greeted by the Rosh Yeshiva, Rabbi Yehuda Leib Shapiro, and the Menahel Ruchni, Rabbi Bentche Korf.

After an introduction by Rabbi shapiro, Rabbi Wolfson delivered a deep and thought-provoking shiur for close to two hours on the topic of Adar Sheini.

Rabbi Wolfson then told a few stories that happened with him and the Lubavitcher Rebbe.

One of stories he told was that many years ago a close family member of his was very sick. At the time he was visiting Jerusalem, and would recite ‘Kriyas Shma She’al Hamita’ in the Ruzhiner Shul. When he came to the Posuk ‘Lev Nishbar Venidke Elokim Lo Sivze,’ he broke out into tears and repeated the Posuk twenty times.

No one knew about this, not even his wife.

When he came back to New York, he went to 770 to get a dollar and Brocho from the Rebbe. The Rebbe told him that in the merit of saying ‘Lev Nishbar Venidke’ with great devotion, Hashem will surly help him.

The visit left a great impression on the Talmidim of the Yeshiva.
