In one small town (won’t say where) the women’s mikvah was a neat, well maintained structure with a freshly painted exterior, well manicured lawn and shrubs, a flagstone walkway leading out to a neat curb cutout at the street. A few doors away was the men’s mikvah. It sported a rocky dirt driveway strewn with broken glass, moldy walls, doors falling off the hinges, stone wainscotting missing in several places, etc.
