Newly Elected Chief Rabbi Visits Wounded Shliach
Rabbi Dovid Lau, the newly elected chief Ashkenazic Rabbi of Israel, arrived at the hospital in Petach Tikvah where Rabbi Ovadia Isakson is being treated to wish him a speedy recovery.
Rabbi Isakson was shot on Thursday in front of his home in Derbent, Russia by an unknown assailant.
Rabbi Lau promised to visit the Shliach once again in Derbent when he returns in good health to his Shlichus.
