Chabad World Cup Video goes Viral

The highly popular Chabad World Cup video which was promoted last week by Jewish.tv has already received over 75,000 views in less then a week since it has been posted online. Many tens of thousand more have seen it on Israeli television stations which broadcast the film in their World Cup reporting.

Israeli television stations, newspaper and other media have been contacting Chabad in Cape Town for comment on the creative presentation and emails have been flowing in from around the world thanking them for giving such a uniquely Jewish twist to the global excitement over the World Cup. A full article was published by staff at Jewish.tv who interviewed the producer, the “players,” the deputy Mayor of Cape Town and the CEO of the stadium who all shared their perspective on being a part of this remarkable production.

The “I Love Chabad Wins the World Cup” fanpage on Facebook has just posted an online gallery of “behind the scenes” photos from the film shoot at the beautiful Cape Town Stadium. (if you do post any of these photos please credit every photo to Lieff Johannson Photography / Shawn Levin Productions).

In both Cape Town and Johannesubrg thousands of tourists have had a chance to join the “on site” Chabad Minyonim, Tefilin Booths, Kosher Meals, Shiurim and General help from the special teams of volunteers manning the booths.
