Metro area Jews Meet at the Ohel
LAURELTON, Queens [CHI] — Following last year’s success, the Lubavtich Youth Organization once again convened a special event for Shluchim and their Mekuravim in the Metro area marking the 14th Yom Hahilulah of the Rebbe.

The event was held in the tent near the Ohel. At about 6:00pm they started arriving from all over New York and New Jersey after a very impressive welcome ceremony, they wrote their Pidyon Nefesh and went into the Ohel.
The emcee of the event was Rabbi Pesach Shmerling and guest speakers were Rabbi Yehudah Leib Groner and Rabbi Yosef Yitzchok Jacobson.
Entertainment was provided by the chazonim Rabbi Sholom Ber Baumgarten and Hersh Tsaskes accompanied by Eli Lipsker.

It was a lovely evening, and as many women as men were there, although there are no pictures…Hearing Rabbi Groner and Rabbi Jacobson speak was truly inspiring and uplifting.
