Unheeded Red Light Causes Collision on Kingston Ave.

Two cars collided on the corner of Kingston Ave. and Crown St., after one of them ran through a red light.

The accident occurred at about 2:40 this afternoon; a gray Saturn with a young passenger in the backseat ran through the red and collided with a black Audi.

A Shomrim volunteer who works nearby heard the crash and ran over to help. He called Hatzolah and Shomrim, and checked to see if anyone required CPR.

Hatzalah arrived within minutes and treated all three individuals who were involved in the accident at the scene. They were then taken to Kings County Hospital for further treatment. Thankfully, none had any serious injuries.

Police arrived at the scene 40 minutes later and filed a report.
