  • y did it take over an hour for a police???

I drove by over an hour after I first noticed the accident, when only than did a police car arrive to file a police report

The driver was waiting there along with Reb yingi bistritski, why should it take this long for a police???

I must say thanks to Reb yingi along with the other volunteers that give up so much of their time for helping the community, but this must be corrected, that when c”v there is a need for a police report, they should be there ASAP, its for security, safety, criminal filling, and as well and equal, and probabley more important to free up the time of our dear volunteers!!!

About time there is a Pedestrian Island installed on this corner. Or do we have to wait for more injuries and CH”V fatalities?

Thank You to all those who advocated for those crazy sidewalk end caps. They leave no room for error,, but they definitely filled the wallets of the contractors who laid them.

  • Pedestrian

Drivers who hit pedestrians that have the right of way should lose their vehicles. And that’s just for starters. On top of losing your vehicle, you should be liable for damages.

  • safe person

everyone should look to see if cars are coming, even if it’s green. May she have a refuah shlaima.

  • Speedy Gonzales

Cars & vans speed down that hill like they have the cops chasing them. It’s the Daytona 500 of Brooklyn.

  • safety

The city should make signals for cars to turn and not let the walk signs go on until after the turn signal goes off.

  • Longer Red light

When pedestrians are crossing, the light should be RED for turning cars. Then the WALK sign should be red when cars are turning.

I was hit at that exact corner, almost 4 years ago. It was also a driver turning left, from Albany onto Empire. The light was green for both of us. BH I walked away from the accident uninjured.
May the woman have a refuah shleimah!
