Purim Miracle: Man Run Down by SUV, Barely Injured

Last night, Purim Eve, at about 2:00am, a young Jewish man was crossing Eastern Parkway towards 770 when he was struck by an SUV making a left turn from Kingston Ave. onto the parkway.

The driver of the SUV, a fellow Lubavitcher, immediately stopped his vehicle and called Hatzalah.

Hatzalah arrived at the scene within minutes and administered first aid; he was then rushed to Kings County Hospital for further treatment.

Miraculously, the pedestrian did not suffer any injuries more serious than scrapes and bruises, despite having been knocked off his feet by the large vehicle.

“When I arrived at the scene and saw the victim, I thought we were dealing with very serious injuries, r”l,” a present first aid responder told CrownHeights.info. “It’s unbelievable he walked away from this incident with mere scratches.”

“It’s a Purim miracle!” He exclaimed.
