Cyclist Stuck and Hurt on Eastern Parkway

A woman who was pedaling her bike across the service road on Eastern Parkway was struck by a minivan and injured. Bystanders called Hatzalah, while an NYPD Emergency Service truck stopped to help.

The incident occurred at around 5:00pm in the service road of Eastern Parkway and Albany Avenue. The woman was crossing towards Lincoln Place when the minivan struck her and knocked her down. The cyclist sustaining bruising and lacerations to her face.

After being treated at the scene, Hatzalah loaded the victim onto their ambulance and transported her to a local hospital.

    Imagine what we would hear if hatzalah saw such an incident and DID not respond/help the girl. Also, why are you assuming she is not Jewish? Is it the pants? Should hatzalah also not help yidden who are not frum?

    I’m going to play “Devil’s advocate” here. Hatzalah was CALLED and they’re right there! If the Goyim see that we have such an attitude, to just blatently turn a “blind eye” to such a thing (“yeah, who cares, let the Goy die”), then can you really blame the Goy (e.g. in a non-Hatzolah neighborhood), if they in turn refuse to help a Yid in need – “you have Hatzolah, wait for them?”
