Red Barret perched on his head, Republican NYC Mayoral Candidate Curtis Sliwa made a visit to Crown Heights Thursday night where he met with Crown Heights activists and joined the dancing at Simchas Beis Hashueiva.

“Having a great time celebrating Sukkot here in Crown Heights,” Sliwa wrote on social media. “Wishing everyone a joyful holiday filled with laughter, community, and tradition. Chag Sameach!”

Starting in the upper area of Crown Heights, Sliwa made his way down Kingston Ave where he spoke with Gadi Hershkop of Crown Heights Shomrim and met with community members.

In a recent poll done on CrownHeights.info, Sliwa was shown to be raking in over 36% of the vote, despite a recent endorsement of Cuomo by many political action committees across the Jewish community.

No matter how well the Askanim try to package the need to vote for Cuomo.

I will always remember who was here for the community in 1991 and who threw us under the bus during covid.

Save your dignity, never vote for Cuomo.

That is how they keep you voting for the people they want you to vote for. There are multiple reasons to vote for the candidate who you want. If the democratic candidate is that far ahead in the polls then a vote for Cuomo is the same as a vote Mandami. You might as well maintain your dignity and vote for Sliwa.

Voting smart is voting for YOUR candidate not letting ‘askanim’ use the oldest media trick in the book that if you vote for so and so you are throwing away your vote and supporting the bad guy. Cutting off you nose is allowing yourself to be manipulated into voting for Cuomo despite his history.

And what about our future and the future of our families and community? You have no idea what troubles await under someone like Mamdani and you don’t seem to care. All you you have to say is don’t vote for Cuomo. Sliwa has no hope to win, only a big ego that won’t allow him to concede, no matter the cost to NYC and its Jewish communities!
