Two Alarm Fire Brings Firefighters To Crown Heights Tuesday Evening

Just as Eastern Parkway was being shut down in Crown Heights Tuesday night, sirens began to wail across the community. A two alarm fire had broken out on Sterling Pl and firefighters were rushing to the scene.
Fire apparatus from as far as Staten Island rushed to Crown Heights to battle the blaze as multiple other fires were also taking place, including one on the southern end of Crown Heights.
Six water lines were stretched as the firefighters fought the flames in the basement of the building located at 1334 Sterling Pl, ultimately dousing the flames by 7:22pm. No injuries were reported.
