Firefighters Battle Garage Fire in Crown Heights Thursday

Tens of firefighters responded to Carroll Street in Crown Heights Thursday to battle a garage fire behind a home.

The fore was first reported around 1:00pm Thursday afternoon after smoke was seen billowing from behind 1621 Carroll Street between Schenectady Ave and Utica Ave.

No injuries were reported but the firefighters also responded to President Street where they made sure that the fire had not spread or injured anyone in the building behind the fire.
