BREAKING: Fire Breaks Out In 3rd Floor Of Crown Heights Yeshiva Building

Fire fighters rushed into Crown Heights Wednesday afternoon after reports of heavy smoke in the area of Eastern Parkway and Kingston was identified as a fire in the Yeshiva building located at 755 Eastern Parkway.

The building, which neighbors 749 Eastern Parkway, was purchased for the Yeshiva within the year.

The building has been evacuated as the FDNY fights the blaze.

Update: The fire has been reported by the FDNY to be on the 3rd floor with exposure to the 4th floor in the rear of the building. The first floor is also occupied by a school. No injuries have yet been reported.
