With the rising popularity of sites like YouTube.com, the possibilities of uploading photos and videos online are endless. Shmuly Tennenhaus has his own YouTube channel and shared these tips to help you start up your own YouTube video library.

1) Don’t fret….this is very easy!

2) Log onto www.youtube.com to create a YouTube account. You must have a YouTube account to upload video . It’s free and should take about one minute to create an account. (YouTube will not flood your inbox with promotions etc.)

3) Log into your e-mail account and confirm your YouTube account information. (Welcome aboard!)

4) Go back to YouTube and on the top of the page there is an option to “Upload Video”. Click on that tab.

5) On the Upload Video Page (http://www.youtube.com/my_videos_upload) create a title and description for your video clip. Make sure to “tag” your clip with relevant keywords. (nbc, bob, morning, show)

These tags simply makes your video easy to locate.

6) Click “Browse”. A box will open up listing all your files. Select the file you wish to upload and click “open”. (If you prefer to keep your video private, YouTube gives you this option as well.)

7) Scroll down and click “Upload Video”. We’re all done!

Now, it should take about 10-15 minutes for the clip to go live.

Hint: For easy video editing, believe it or not, your computer probably has the perfect program to do this.

The program is called “Windows Movie Maker”. To locate, click on “Start – Programs – Accessories – Windows Movie Maker”.
