And boruch hashem! We sure hope that THIS time it will work!
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. We will continue to daven!

Who is behind this? It doesn’t sound like a Lubav thing. It sounds like a wonderful idea, but I’m curious who’s organizing it.

what does it matter if the organizer is lubavitch or not. we are all jews no matter what. it shouldn’t even be a question.

#6, What it matters is that until quite recently it would be unthinkable for a project like this to be run by anyone *but* Lubavitchers. 20-30 years ago in the frum world Moshiach was a theoretical idea, some sort of mal’ach who will come far in the future, and the thought of actually trying to bring him was unheard of outside Lubavitch. And the language of “demanding” Moshiach was completely unheard of; who are we to make demands of Hashem? That was the way people thought. The fact that today something like this happens and doesn’t even raise eyebrows, and is run *not* by Lubavitchers (unless they’re under cover) shows how the Rebbe’s campaign has succeeded in permeating the Jewish consciousness. So I’m naturally curious who is behind it.

Unfortunately it hasn’t yet achieved its goal; but maybe now that it’s become mainstream it will finally do so. We can’t take much more of this golus.
