  • very entertaining and quite fascinating

it’s quite fascinating to actually see young people realize that what they have is what’s meant for them ..that when push comes to shove they are happy with their lot.
But my question is what is the point of Chabad people doing this? What is the purpose?
    The goal?

I am not criticizing I am truly trying to understand.. what am I missing?

Don’t you get it? So many of our kids are “searching”, thinking there is something bigger and better for them “out there”. This hopefully will get them thinking – even if things aren’t perfect, would they really be willing to give up their family for 5 full years?
A yid doesn’t sin unless the ruach shtus convinces him that he won’t tear himself away from HaShem.
So too, with our kids, it’s the ruach shtus. But get them to really think about it, and hopefully they will be as insightful as these kids we just saw

This is obviously geared to teans (I would assume those who are not religious yet). It definitely has a powerful and meaningful lesson!
    Great job!

,,,,and you will have no questions. This is made for CTeens and the “cast” are people they relate to. Hopefully they will learn not only not to ever want to leave their own family, but to also stay and grow into their greatest gift of being born into a Jewish family, staying Jewish, being proud Jews and marrying Jewish and last but certainly not least, taking on a life of Torah and mitzvos. Hope you got the point now and thanks for asking bec am sure your question is also that of others who weren’t bold enough to come forward and ask.

There have got to be kids out there who really hate their families and would jump at the chance of swapping; what would you do if you got one of them?
