  • Love it

I bought a Freeda in 1997 when I got married, 15 years later the sheitel is still in great shape & has outlasted the marriage by 8 years. Still have it. I recommend Freeda to ALL my friends

  • Freeda!

Although well intentioned, one might ask is it purely modest to have a video of woman dancing around on a web site where bachurim and yeshiva boys go for their daily news??

  • In my opinion

Nice! But I actually think a shorter style looked better, more chic and framed her face bettter….this one is just one of the millions.

  • Concerned about our kids

Since when is long shaitels tznius? Maybe in crown heights where mini skirts and cleavage is the norm

  • Disappointed

I thought this video is for women and girls only. Did you really
believe men wouldn’t watch it? I don’t know why I am disappointed,
when this is the trend in crown heights today. Lets finally see
articles that are trying to upgrade the ruchnius of this kehilla
and not always bringing us down

  • TO: 7 & 8

you guys dont belong in Crown Heights. You would better fit into Williamsburg or Boropark.

  • CHEVIIE

UNLIKE THESE OTHER SHETEL COMPANIES I FIND THAT FREEDA WIGS REALLY STAYS IN THE REALMS OF TZNIUS ETC….

  • ok firstly:

Its a video about WIGS> why are men and bochurim watching!?!??!

2nd the acting made me CRINGE! but cute idea…

  • Cute

I agree with #9, she looked so much better in the short, chic look. Nice infomercial though.

  • to # 13

#13, the men that watched this when it said specificaly that it’s intended for women and girls, are probably watching other stuff they shouldnt. If they cared about what they watched, they wouldnt watch videos that state clearly, that it is not inteded for men.

On another note, the other shorter wigs looked great on her, I like them better than this longish one. It doesnt really suit her, and its such an overused style. But, kudos to hindel & malkie, they are great & always so friendly!!!! they’re wigs are really nice!

  • Freeda lover BH :-)

OMG !!! Im in love w freeda they really make me feel free, before I got married I was terrified by the sheitel world since I loved my hair, BUT thanks to our friends behind the scenes of freeda I now feel GLORIFIED through the comfort and luxury that my wavy curly shaeitel has given me!

  • Chava

I don’t see the issues u all describe. Everyone is completely tznious in the video and the dancing is tastefully done. Men shouldn’t watch it but better this then other shtoos out there . The shaitels look gorgeous! Im very impressed.

  • Happy customer

I gotta say I was so scared to go buy a shaitel. But at freeda they are so friendly and not intimidating like the other companies. Hindel Maliki shulamis and Tzippy thank you!!!!!

  • go malky!!!!!!!!

    kisses and hugs
    love dina:) mwaaaaaaaaaaa

  • I suspect

Comment #12 was written by a known sick Chabad/Freeda Wigs rival in Flatbush who’s wigs biz no lubavitcher should patronize..a creepy man who’s the last person who shld be talking about tznius! Great video!

  • Maidela

This is such a difficult mitzvah to keep, especially for the ba’al t’shuva. Jew in the City does amazing kiruv, reaching people worldwide with her online site. It serves a wonderful purpose which will only be truly rewarded in olam haba. How many of you who are criticizing and judging have devoted all the time and effort to reach out to fellow Yidden as Jew in the City has done? SHAME ON YOU!!! Remember..Dan L’Chaf Schus… how you judge others so will Hashem judge you!!!

  • Eli

Didnt the Rebbe speak countless times about Kol Yofayah Bat Melech Penimah? A little Cheshbon Hanefesh please!

  • Kol Kvuda Bas Melech Pnima

    Tznius????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

  • seeking kedusha

such a long wig is considered tznius? who sets the standards of the tznius of the length of a shatel? freeda?
her wigs are great but why so long? when trying to do a good thing, why confuse the issue?

  • to #34

to #34, where’d you get the idea that a long shaitel isnt tznius? Where did you get that interpretation from?

Who taught you that a shorter hair is better???

  • to #12

#12, if you were concerned about modesty, you wouldnt use the word -cleavage on a chabad public forum.

So much fun! I LOVE Allison and Jew in the City…she’s frum, smart, and very funny, such a good role mode for young ladies to see an observant woman & mom with such confidence and personality.

  • Yes, I said it

Maybe this sparks a new type of makeover show. Go to the drecks of crown heights and find the “ladies” (bais shmuel, ohel nosson and cay women) that dress like shiksas. Make them over in a way that would acceptable to pick your kids up at bais rivka and make the Rebbe proud . My kind of makeover.

  • Alon

HASHEM ESHMOR,,,,,,,,,What Pritzot,Wigs its Pigs, no OLAM ABA if you are not change your way.

Whach the movie “HASOF” or “THE END” see what he say about womens wearing Wigs.

  • Freeda-s definitely used 2 b great!

She definitely looked better in her old wig which suited her really well or the 2 shorter ones with bangs…especially the dark brown straight with bangs!

  • Big Kiddush Hashem.....

Shame on the people who are criticizing this video. For those of you who are so worried about the tznius that is wrong in Crown Heights, this video should make you proud. Here is a put together, frum, and very tznius woman who is doing a big kiddush hashem. Maybe through this video she will reach out to those women who are a little lost and bring them back by showing them that you can be totally tznius and stylish! Way to go and I hope Freeda does more free shaitel makeovers….I can use a new shaitel myself!

  • Impressed

It’s so refreshing to prove to our young generation that a frum woman can be dressed tznius, have a sense of style, a sense of class AND a sense of humor. She’s hip and cool, and has her finger on the pulse of what’s going on out there. I’m impressed with Allison Joseph. she has come a long way and has guided so many people along her journey. We need more people like her. as far as Freeda wigs, they have always been a step ahead of all the wig companies…. I remember when Freeda Kugel herself, in her basement,, wanted to sell a wig to me wiith dark roots on top, a hair fashion must have that is everywhere today!!!!! She introduced it to me 10 years ago!!!!and I’m still enjoying the wig! I was in need of a fashion change then, and she knew Exactly what would give me that oomph. Thanks to both jitc and freeda wigs for the great work you both do

  • Shterna G.

I have a freda for twelve years and i just got one of their discontinued wigs from their website. They are great quality wigs and i got a great deal. More than being happy with a bargain and a good sheitel, im proud to buy a wig from our own crown heights company who has a bracha from the Rebbe.and a tasteful tznius video to bring another yid closer to Yiddishkeit must be giving the Rebbe nachas.

  • Flatbush/Chabad competition

There are other manufacturer who make quality sheitels and stand behind their products. Customers have choices and understand good quality and customer service. I appreciate each customer that comes to Flatbush and values 100% customer satisfaction.

  • To 55

Freeda has quality and customer service. In fact I think they at the only company that isn’t intimidating . I was in an unnamed Flatbush wig shop and the guy tells the sales women in yiddish to make sure I don’t steal. service???? I think not

  • Not a happy customer

My Freeda wig gets frizzy and knots up in the back. The fair feels dry and course and when i comb it, clumps of hair fall out, the top is balding. The sheitel macher tried to return it but they refused to accept it back saying it was a “Final Sale” product and that I waited too long to complain (three months). That was very disappointing! Some friends are happy with their freeda wigs but many are not happy. I think the comments are not reflecting an accurate review of dissatisfaction.

  • yay!

I’m CRAZY about my Freeda! Get compliments EVERYDAY from friends and strangers alike about my ‘hair’. I work in a non-jewish environment and that is so importnat to me.
