Nice, but it would have been nicer if the girls would have dressed al pi halacha.

  • a shliach in a hot coastal city

This video is probably intended for a audience where non tznius MAY be a smaller concern. It was not produced for frum jews let alone chasidim.
For most of us the Rebbe said that according to shulchan aruch begns at 3!
Tje rebbe rashab wriyes in his works about PRAYER thay guarding the eyes is a most important prerequisite

  • Disagree with #2

You say that the video is designated for an audience where NON tznius may be a smaller concern. Yet it is being showed in a site used by Lubavitchers. Is this what you had in mind?
We may think that we can be more successful in bringing someone close by washing out our Torah, but it is my experience that the opposite is the truth. This little girl could have been taught to cover her upper arms and still feel special. C’mon, why do we have to be mekel with tzinus??

  • typo

I noticed a typo. being that it seems you have plenty of Israelis, I believe they would notice it. therefore, I suggest you fix it if it’s not too late:
Oter Yisrael b’Tifarah – Tifarah is with a suf – not a tes.

  • rivkie

remember this is a Talmud Torah not a day school.
children are coming after a day in public school.
we cant expect them to dress tzniusdik etc.
this video is very impressive. thanks for sharing.

  • It-s hot everywhere in the summer

Adorable video… and kol hakavod… but I would have liked the “pajama” sequence to be done by a boy, not a girl.It made me uncomfortable.

  • Shlucha

    Great video! Thanks for sharing.

One concern: when enumerating the brachos the last bracha is left out.

For children this most likely would not matter.

For adults though this creates the issue of ignoring the elephant in the room, which I find is detrimental to effective shlichus work, based on respect and trust.

Though the issue of shelo asani isha is not easy, ignoring it, creates an even more difficult issue in my experience on shlichus

I look forward to any updates this video might bring..

Much hatzlocha! in your shlichus.. especially in the ‘difficult’ areas

The Kievmans do a WONDERFUL job and before you comment, learn a little about what this program is all about.

  • ST

its kind of odd feeling for me to send this to non frum people when the girls have short sleeved uniforms. Some people might say its not a big deal, but it is to me. I want people to see our beautiful life style in the true way…..

  • Batya Landes

I am the Head of Jewish Studies in a school in England. Our children enjoyed watching this and learned much from it. It is structured and well put together. Well Done!
