Video: Empty Promises, Streets Still not Plowed

Promises by the mayor, and the sanitation commissioner to have every street in New York Cirty cleaned by Thursday morning, turned into a really big lie today with three blocks of Montgomery Street still remain unplowed.

We took a drive down the snow and ice-logged street to show you just how bad it really is.

the important thing is our elected officials in crown heights and the vaad members made a big stink and stood up for us and tried their best. (/sarcasm)

  • actual facts

actually they did go through. On Wednesday morning. Though they did an absolute terrible job. that might explain why the truck got stuck right by Brooklyn ave for over an hr,.

  • hello

Hello and what is wrong with the roads, you made it through. Did you pay the tax for the Vaad Hakohol. If not than you have no right to complain. Nice try, but that is as good as you are going to get. Have happy new year. No Tachnun tomorrow.

  • Qualifies for nothing except for taxes

Hello?? Where does that Stimulus money come from?? My TAXES, that’s where!! My taxes pay for the “Benefit Cards” for people who lie on their income statements (“off the books”), my taxes pay for “weatherization” for “poor families” while, as a poor shnook who works for a living and gets my income reported to the goverment “on the books” gets NOTHING. Why do these people with “Benefit” cards get to lease new fancy minivans while I have to drive a dented old one with over 100,000 miles on it??
And my taxes pay for the sanitation workers who drove the plows raised and made the streets impassible for days. I am not impressed!!

  • Snowbound

Go from Albany to Troy and you’d see that that block was not plowered either!!

  • A confused out of towner

I don’t understand why they didn’t plow the streets. I would’ve thought that in Brooklyn, of all places, the streets would be plowed. Is there a valid reason for it?

  • Menachem

They did plow montgomery you report lies I followed the truck and got stuck behind it Ask the owner of the bakery on Kingston and crown they even helped him get his car out stop the lies

  • 5 towns not plowed either
