why did Krinsky have to be evasive when asked at the Press conference did the couple have any other children (besides the one that was saved) and Krinsky answered hesitantly yes but he is all right and he (the other child — Holtzbergs Bechor ) is in good hands all —- bobeh mases..

why couldn’t he answer the truth (he passed away about a year ago) when everyone knows this themselves , it was in the news all day long.

what a chilul Hashem that for no reason at all he couldn’t answer straight.
symptomatic of an evasive person who just can’t tell the truth.

    what a shame.

  • What a mess

They have a sick child in Israel
What a pathetic show ! a great time to educate the world about the logic of separate seating.

  • whats the truth?

how come everywhere in the news they say thaey had another child a bechor who died. which one is the truth or there is one who mpassed away and another who is sick?? or someone just told everyone that the other child they had died like many people who right off sick children.

    epes shtimt nit

    TO CROCODILE TEARS
ACTUALLY HIS EVASIVE ANSWER WAS VERY SENSITIVE AND DIPLOMATIC
TRUE ONE (HIS ELDEST PASSED ON) BUT HIS SECOND IS ACTUALLY SAFE HANDS AND THE ITS THE THIRD MOSHE WHO WAS RESCUED

  • nothing deters us...

The criticisms on this board are completely inappropriate at this time. Rabbi Krinsky hesitated probably because the situation with the sick or niftar children was irrelevant to this press conference. That wasn’t the point and he just looked “flustered”. I sincerely doubt his point was to evade questioning. What about being dan lkaf zechus at a time like this? None of that has any bearing on the hostage situation in India.

Can you chas vshalom imagine how horribly difficult it is for them to get up there and announce the cold blooded murders of their Shluchim?? They were grieving as a parent would be. Hashem should help us all at this time.

We should focus on what Rabbi Kotlarsky said at the end of the press conference about Chabad: “NOTHING DETERS US” Hashem should see to it that Yiddishekeit continues to be spread to the four corners of the earth with the Rebbe’s Shluchim leading the way in safety and peace.

I’M DISHEARTENED TO NOTICE THE REBBE’S CHARGE TO THE SHLUCHIM AND CHASSIDIM IN GENERAL TO PUBLICIZE TO THE WORLD ABOUT THE IMMINENT ARRIVAL OF MOSHIACH WAS LOST, FORGOTTEN, MISSING WHEN WE HAD THE WHOLE WORLD AS AN AUDIENCE.
I HOPE THIS WILL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN

i think they had one child who passed away AND another in a home. But who are we to pry into their private business. maybe they don’t want it made public.

  • what a chutzpa!

Crownheightsinfo shame on you for printing Crocidile tears statement. What a chutzpa. Give R Krinsky a break here!

The Holtzbergs have not had the easiest life. One of their children passed away, and one of their children had to be given 24 hour attention due to illness so they had to relinquish their care in favor of a Jewish 24 hour care facility in Israel. With all their tzoros, how sad that their demise was in such a painful fashion. We can’t understand Hashems ways, but let us remember the purity of the Holtzbergs and perpetuate their goodness and kindness to all.

  • this one to Crocidile:

Unfortunately, to the elders, the Holtzberg and Rosenberg grandparents, tragedy is no stranger. Three years ago, the eldest of Rav Gavriel and Rivka, Menachem Mendel, died of illness. Another child remains in a long-term rehabilitation facility in Eretz Yisrael with a difficult disease as well.

  • someone who just worked for shluchim

i understand the pain chabad feels when shluchim are hurt and this comment does not in any way lessen the grief of the holtzberg family however the other people who were killed and have been identified have not gotten the same attention at all and i dont understand why we haven’t given them the same respect. they may not be shluchim but they were mashgichim and without mashgichim going around the world and leaving their families sometimes for weeks at a time we would not have the thousands of choices of kosher food as we do. they also left behind families that need support and yet nothing was said of the sacrifices they made for all. they may not be from the “elite troops” but they are still a part of us and without them chabad houses around the world would have a harder time keeping kosher. i understand that Rabbi Krinsky did not know the fate of the others but he knew that they were there then and should have at least said to continue davening for them and said their names.
