  • Where u eat or sleep

Ty so much for sharing, now we know the Halachos B”H, just 1 thing, I think we hold that you’re supposed 2 light in the place where u sleep meaning your house, however the exact location we see that Bachurim light in their dorm room, families light in the dinning room, being that it’s the same house the place where u eat & sleep however if you’re a single Bachur not in Yeshivah for example in your bsmnt or aptmnt u light where u sleep meaning by the room why does he say here to light where u eat, we hold where u sleep, it happens to be a Machlokes bet the Mechaber & Rama

Yes I am a Bachur not in Yeshivah & I light by the doorway of my bedroom not in the doorway of my kitchen acc to this we should light in the doorway of the kitchen, but no 1 does that, everyone lights by the bedroom doorway, Why does he say to light in the room where u eat, thus is very Shver ? Acc to this we should light for those who are in Yeshivah, in the dining room, but we don’t why ? Obviously we hold u light where u sleep, & clearly he says he that Bachurim in Yeshivah should light by the bedroom that seems to contradict what he says here that we should light where we eat ? Maybe someone could explain this plz
