Campus Kinus Concludes with Focus on Unity

Nearly 400 Shluchim and Shluchos who serve on college and university campuses around the globe – along with their more than 600 children – particpated in the Chabad on Campus Kinus International Conference 5776 in Stamford, Connecticut.

The event, held at The Crowne Plaza Stamford Hotel, shaped the outlook for the next year of Chabad on Campus activity. The four-day symposium was packed with non-stop seminars, lectures, workshops, and networking opportunities meant to inform and inspire.

This year’s theme, the international growth of Chabad on Campus, was felt with the participation of Shluchim from the United States, Canada, Argentina, Australia, South Africa, Russia, China, United Kingdom, Eretz Yisroel, Italy, Netherlands, and Germany. The international component was also highlighted by Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, Vice Chairman of Merkos L’Inyanei Chinuch and Chairman of Chabad on Campus International, Rabbi Berel Lazar, Chief Rabbi of Russia, Mr. George Rohr, Chairman of the Chabad on Campus International Advisory Board, in their respective remarks.

The Kinus was a logistical feat with 42 MyShliach staff counselors, 91 childcare staff,  a catering team of 70, 14 guest presenters, 45 partner organizations, 9 Yeshiva representatives, 78 seminars, workshops and farbrengens and 16 experts available for consulting!

“My heartfelt hope is that the strength we all gave each during this Kinus will enable us to continue strengthening our entire global Jewish family,” said Rabbi Yossy Gordon, Executive Vice President of the Chabad on Campus International. “When Chassidim join together with unrelenting determination and devotion to the Rebbe’s powerful vision, we will carry it through!”
