Lavish Melave Malka Benefits Chesed in Russia

Last Motzei Shabbos, a grand Melave Malka was held in Moscow to benefit the city’s many Chesed institutions, under the leadership of Russia’s Chief Rabbi Berel Lazar.

At the event, the founding of yet another Chesed organization – Keren Hachnosas Kallah, which will assist Jewish brides and grooms with their wedding expenses – was announced.

The Sefer Ahavas Chesed by the Chofetz Chaim was recently translated into Russian for the first time, and a copy of the new print was distributed to each guest following the event.
