Queens Community Celebrates Shliachs Son’s Bris

Members of the Bukharian Jewish community in Queens, New York gathered last week to celebrate the Bris of the son of Rabbi Yitzchok Wolowik, one of their Rabbis and local Chabad Shliach.

Taking place in a luxurious local event hall members of the community along with friends of Rabbi Wolowik joined together to partake in this great Simcha. The baby was named Chaim Ze’ev after his grandfather, the Chossid Reb Chaim Ze’ev Steinbach OBM of Kfar Chabad.

The Bukharian community in Queens, must b seriously wealthy. Look @ this bris, it must have cost @ least $5000. This shliach, in no question has BH wealthy supporters, & I’m sure has no issue with $$$, if they r sponsoring a bris like this. Wow I wish I could go on shlichus 2 this community, no issue with $$$. This is only a guess I don’t know the shliach’s personal finances. Mazal Tov !! & only simchas. Hey that’s Rabbi Wolowik from Merkaz Stam on Kingston Ave.

2 comment #2 I would give it about maybe 7 or 8 thousand, I could b off, but I mean check out the food, the way the hall is set up, I wouldn’t be surprised if the hall was abt 2 k, but it really looks more like a Chasina than a bris, seriously. That would make the catering itself about 6 thousand minus the 2 k 4 the hall. I agree these ppl r seriously wealthy & I sure hope the shliach has no issue with funds. What’s most important when u have $$$$ like this, is 2 invite & feed the needy & poor, then u have done the Mitzvah in the best way.

Why does it seem that people and shluchim are looking more and more at $

This has nothing to do with $, looks can be deceiving, you have no idea how much these people are making or not. Get a job and work and go into business if you want $

Shlichus is not about the $ period

This is an immigrant community, and it certainly has many members who are not wealthy. May the wealthy ones continue to partner with community leaders to strengthen the community in gashmius and ruchnius.

whats with your jealousy? you should be happy that a yid can put money into a simcha rather than bills.

No truma, my comment wasn’t directed at those in this picture/article, was directed to your seeming jealousy….I’m quite thrilled to see people spending toward a simcha, my comment was more directed to your initial comment
