Chabad Plans New Center at UCF

Chabad at the University of Central Florida has purchased 2 acres of real estate, planning to build a Chabad House with about 15,000 square feet for student outreach near the campus.

“We hope it’s going to help us cater to a lot more students and it’s going to bring more diversity and culture and vibrance to the UCF community as a whole,” said Rabbi Chaim Lipskier.

Chabad at UCF Inc. purchased the property at 3140 N. Alafaya Trail in east Orlando for $750,000. Plans call for construction to start possibly this year.

  • It's about time!

Hope people open their hearts and their pockets to help you build this overdue building.
Until now all the Shoimer Shabbos students slepped over on Shabbos and Yom Tov at the Lipskiers modest home.
There is ZERO privacy and it’s about time the students have their own center. and the Lipskiers have thier own home.
