Chabad of South Beach Closes on New Location

Chabad of Miami’s South Beach, home to a growing Jewish community after many decades of decline, announced the purchase of a new property that will host the center’s myriad events and activities, after successfully raising $100,000 to purchase the building.

Chabad of South Beach caters to the local “Surfer/Skater/Biker” Jewish community, as well as the thousands of local and international Jewish visitors they receive throughout the year, providing a warm inspiring Jewish atmosphere in the popular tourist area of South Beach.

“Over the past few years, our community and number of visitor have grown significantly”, says the Chabad center’s director Rabbi Shragi Mann. “We receive visitors from literally every corner of the world. We have outgrown our current temporary location and closed on a new and larger permanent location.”

“Whether you live here full time or part time, or simply visited once for a Holiday, vacation, it has been our pleasure hosting you and providing a warm inspiring Jewish atmosphere here in South Beach. You’re the reason why we are here and it’s through your support that we will continue to be here and grow,” he said.
