Photos: Shlichus in Remote Mountains of Bolivia

Photographer Meir Alfasi recently traveled to the mountains of Bolivia, where he brought Judaism to fellow Yidden some of the most remote places on earth.

Seen in the photos in Bolivia’s Titicaca Lake, which – at nearly 13,000 feet above sea level – is the highest navigable lake in the world. It is also the largest lake in South America.

Meir travels were documented in the Israeli BaKehila Magazine, which can be viewed <%media(20120719-Alfasi Bolivia.pdf|here)%> [PDF in Hebrew].
