Purim Around the World: The Village, Manhattan

The Chabad Loft’s ‘Mobile Purim Party’ took Manhattan by storm this past Motzei Shabbos, the eve of Purim.

Rabbi Yakov Bankhalter and family met thousands of Jewish people on the streets of Lower Manhattan, including Union Square and the Lively Meat Packing District, and shared with them the joy of Purim.

The Purim Party Bus quickly filled up with Jewish bystanders eager to share in the Joy of Purim. Non-stop Megillah readings and Hamentaschen eating contests were held aboard the vehicle.
