20 Years of Jewish Activity in Africa Marked at Dinner

Only in Africa will you find the ambassadors of the United States and Italy dancing to the tunes of Chassidic music together with Chabad Rabbis and African government officials. The unusual character of the dinner reflected Chabad of Africas 20 years of successful activities.

Rabbi Shlomo Bentolila, the head Shliach to Central Africa, oversees the activities in 14 states, but isn’t ready to settle and relax: “we will establish two more Chabad Houses, and a Yeshiva” he promised to the applause of the crowd.
