Chabad House Opening in Brazilian Capital

Jewish infrastructure in Brazil continues to expand, as Chabad-Lubavitch Rabbi Leib and Sara Rojtenberg, and their daughter Chana, settle in to their new home in the capital city of Brasilia.

Home to an estimated 400 Jewish families, Brasilia also serves as the address for 119 foreign embassies.

The Rojtenbergs will provide an array of Jewish educational, social service and children’s programs from their new Chabad House with the assistance of the Keren Nehor Menachem foundation directed by Rabbi Dovid Weitman of Chabad Morumbi.
