Neshama Cteen Volunteers Collect Toys for Gifts

The largest teen program in New York, Neshama Cteen of Chabad of Brighton-Manhattan Beach, proudly displays the toys they have collected and wrapped to distribute to special needs children in our community to make their Chanukah celebrations especially happy.

The Chabad Neshama Center first introduced it’s incredibly successful teen program 15 years ago, in recent years the group has expanded under the auspices of Cteen, a project initiated by Merkos – Lubavitch Headquarters.

The guys division, under the leadership of Rabbi Moshe Dovid Winner and the girls division, led by Chaya Winner, has hit a record of close to 100 members.

Each group meets monthly, enjoying motivational seminars and hands-on activities in an inviting and welcoming environment full of energy and enthusiasm. The teens receive community service hours for volunteering their time running children’s programs, visiting seniors, donating food to nursing homes, and participating in our Chabad Neshama Friendship circle program.
