Food was supplied by L’Chaim’s Restaurant Glasgow ONLY Kosher restaurant. Throughout the event Jewish music was played throughout the Bowling Alley.

A great feeling of Jewish of achdus pride was felt by all when the Menorah was lit by Rabbi Chaim Jacobs which was followed by the singing of Hanayros Haloloo and Moaz Tzur.

Before Chanukah a Menorah was presented to the Provost (mayor) of East Renfrewshire Council Councillor Alex Mackie by Rabbi Chaim and his son Mendel Jacobs.

A twenty Foot Banner has been mounted at a most prominent roundabout in the community to remind people of the festival of Chanukah, and 1800 multi coloured Chanukah were mailed throughout the community and beyond.
