Unity Lectures to Continue Beyond Shnas Hakhel
Hundreds of communities worldwide tuned in to the fourth Unity Lecture, yesterday. The program featured renowned psychologist and Torah scholar, Rabbi Dr. Abraham J. Twerski, who was introduced by head Shliach to Pittsburgh, Rabbi Yisrael Rosenfeld, and a special music video featured Mayer Rivkin.
“In response to an overwhelming number of requests, the Unity Lecture will be an ongoing program into the new year and beyond,” Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, Chairman of JLI, announced yesterday.
The web-cast provides a unique opportunity for Jews in remote communities to hear and learn from leading Rabbis and lecturers and fosters feelings of unity and belonging with the worldwide Jewish community. The series, enabled Shluchim to provide first rate programming in the Chanukah, pre-Pesach, Gimmul Tammuz and pre-Rosh HaShana seasons.
